During the early days of the then new administration of Mayor Bill White of Houston Texas we built a site to help coordinate donations for the homeless. This was in conjunction with the Mayor's campaign to "Give a hand up--not a hand out".

As new attention was given to helping the homeless return to society existing organizations stepped up and their web sites began to provide the information about different donation locations that this web site provided. Therefore this site was taken down.
