Welcome to the portfolio web site of Tom Davis (aka Thomas R. Davis) of Houston, Texas whose career is specializing in services to the public infrastructure industry, business improvement districts, professional service providers and those that serve in those markets.

Throughout my 40+ years of experience I have been very fortunate to have served in the completion and turnover of unique projects--unique in that they were multi-prime design consultants; multi-prime contractors; multi-funding agencies; and the majority built as part of a multi-year program.

The projects ranged from small to very large treatment facilities; renovation of two terminals at Houston’s Bush Airport; reconstruction of Houston’s downtown streets; to leading the renovation of a new satellite fine arts museum; to current serving as Special Projects Manager in the Mayor's Office of the City of Houston. Given that an improvement has no value until it is successfully put to use I prefer to think of the services as Project Delivery rather than just project management.

As communication has evolved to the internet and emails I have at times had contracts with those that needed internet sites and emails to communicate about projects. That experience and a personal interest in the internet has kept me up to date with that world and hence I could build this site and those in the Links menu on this page. As you will see, several of those sites are about sharing what was learned byway of the projects I have served. If something about what you see hear leads you to want to ask about something then please do so.
